- middlesex - jeffrey eugenides ... i cannot talk to you if you haven't read this book. you must read it. just go.
- the red tent - anita diamant ... i fell in love with the various fabulous women and cried big fat tears on the sewing machine when it was over.
- american gods - neil gaiman ... this was epic, got me through over 20 hrs of stitching pouches. though i can't pay enough attention to appreciate all the detail, but that made it perfect to listen to a 2nd time (& probably a 3rd).
- neccessary illusions - noam chomsky ... couldn't focus on it enough while working, but it is so much better to listen to chomsky then read him.
